The Iroquois Hunters
The Hunting nations were all situated on the Canadian side of the border.The Ojibwa were in the area around Lake Superior to northeast Georgian Bay.The Ottawa nation were located on the Manitoulin Island and the Bruce Peninsula.The Nipissing nation were located near Lake Pissing.The Algonquin were situated by the Ottawa River and areas around the river.The Maliseet were by the St. Lawrence Valley all the way to the Bay of Fundy, eastern Maine, and western New Brunswick.The Mi’kmaq were situated by the Southeast parts of the Gaspe Peninsula, eastern New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia.
